My overall experience with this attorney and her assistants were very sub-par. I was dealing with a custody issue and ended up losing due to my attorney irritating the judge in our conclusion. I just recently received another invoice from over a year ago after zeroing out my account with them for an additional payment. Tread carefully if looking for an attorney.

A great friend of mine referred me to seek family law assistance by Samantha Hazel. After working with a lawyer just months prior and getting poor service I was skeptical. Samantha was amazing! She was on the ball the entire time, extremely time efficient, knowledgeable and had nothing less than perfect communication with me. I was going on two years of working on my dissolution of marriage. Once I hired Samantha, it was completed in just a couple of months. We ended up going to trial of which I was amazed with her tactics of proving my case to the judge. I trusted her every judgement without even asking. Trust, as you know, is hard to come by especially when it comes to new people. Samantha made me feel comfortable from the first time I spoke with her. She never let me veer off track and always kept me focused. My case rightfully ended with such great results all because of Samantha. I would recommend Samantha for any kind of family law case. I will recommend her to anyone I know in need from here on out.

A friend referred me to a lawyer who was unavailable and referred me on to Samantha Hazel to handle a small but time sensitive family law matter a few months into the pandemic in 2020. She stated she was available, then after I paid the retainer, went on vacation for two weeks, which she did not disclose to me prior to retaining her. I would have hired another attorney had I known this information. Then, while on vacation, initiated several calls to me and each time complained to me that she was working while on vacation. She sent correspondence to my children's father without my review referring to his current girlfriend as "his quarantine babe," a sentiment I do not share and found very unprofessional and dangerous. Not only do I want to keep the peace for coparenting our children, this is a person I left due to domestic violence and who had supervised visitation and court mandated anger management. Retaliation against myself - or worse, my kids - is a very real possibility. And finally, once the matter was settled and the finish line in sight, the drafting and submission of the document dragged on for weeks. I hope I don't need an attorney again, but if I do, I'll be sure to stick with someone that I was directly referred to by a friend.

We were disappointed in the less than good service and follow through performed, (or not performed) by Jo Posey. An important affidavit was filed incorrectly adding to an already tough situation. I do not recommend wasting your money here.
