Hello, I consulted 4 attorneys before Charissa. 2 were pushing Chapter 7 like it was a street drug, and 2 came up with different and equally difficult plans for Chapter 13, both 5 years long and a HIGH monthly payment amount. Charissa immediately greet me like a person dealing with a highly stressful situation, and I learned about her approach to Chapter 13 and why she is exceptional at it. She had to dig into the numbers and gather a lot of data, but in the end we settled on a 3 year plan at 66% of what the other Chapter 13 advisers listed for me. Her fees are in line with all other attorneys so the choice was clear. The payments aren't exactly comfortable, but they ARE manageable. Finally, her office staff members have each greeted me with a smile or with an upbeat and positive e-mail when communication has been necessary (because Charissa is a professional, we correspond only when an important date comes or when documentation is needed). If you must choose Bankruptcy, get the most qualified firm with the right people to guide you through an intense life situation. You will want people who can do so with actual ease, genuine grace, and efficiency. In my experience, that firm is Freedom Law.
