George T. Daggett

Please do not hire Mr. Daggett if you could possibly be looking at jail/prison time. He is not your man. Do not mistake his arrogance for confidence. Big difference, he has a lot of arrogance, makes a lot of promises, and when it is all said and done, nothing he said was what took place. His promises and and experience meant nothing, his golf trips and lunches with the Prosecutor meant nothing. Subsequently, someone I love is in Prison. If she would have taking the plea, she would be home now. Mr. Daggett always used to say to her "You want to know how sure I am you will NEVER SEE ONE DAY IN PRISON, 99.7%." Not only did she see one day of prison, she is looking a many years of prison. In addition, he never told her that they would take her to prison straight from trial. Between the incident date and the Court date was almost 2 years. She was working, taking care of her family, etc. The last day of the trial, was the last day she would see her home, and they just took her to await her trial date. She was no flight risk. She was naive to these situations, and trusted her attorney's advice. Mr. Daggett, if I could ask you one thing, would you have handled your loved ones case like this? The truth is no, but he is a strange relationship with the truth. Sorry to have to give this review, but it is more important that I warn any potential client, find somebody else, he is not the guy for the job. The one star he I gave him was bc I could not give him less than one.

In 2008 i gave george daggett a retainer of $20,000 to represent me in a malicious prosecution case in bergen county, nj. he told my wife and i that he would be filing our case in federal court ( i have proof in his own words) instead he filed our case in county court and as a matter of course after a year and half a bergen county judge dismissed the case in favor of the prosecution. george daggett had the nerve to come to my home and ask me for more money in order to file case with new jersey state court. he deceived, lied and took our money with the full knowledge that the case would not go any further than the local court. as a former prosecutor he knew what the outcome would be. my wife and i decided to bring george daggett before the new jersey fee arbitration counsel, but due to all of the stress his actions put on us , especially my wife we decided not to move forward. we hired mr. daggett , because he was far away from bergen county and did not do business in the local court house.

What can I say? My Hero! Mr. Daggett is a great man. Honest, straightforward and compassionate. He has helped change my life for the better and I will never forget it! From the minute I walked in his office, I knew something special was happening...I had no idea that the outcome could be this positive. Thank you to his awesome staff for their excellent communication and attention to my case. I highly recommend George Daggett.
