I spoke with Mark concerning a situation with my boyfriend's Truck, it stopped running and we had a sears auto center repair it. An attorney is actually supposed to listen and evaluate the situation. He assumed that we were lying about maintaining the truck even though I told him my boyfriend has all the records. He insisted there would have been a sign something was wrong prior to when we broke down and I had to keep repeating there was no issue and the truck was running fine and never had that issue happen prior he kept insisting and manipulating the story to say the truck was consistently stopping at the side of the road and we would wait for it to cool down before running it, which was not the case, we never had the truck break down prior to this, we stopped when we had the issue, called AAA and waited for a tow truck but the car turned back on and drove to sears so we cancelled the tow. All of which there is record of but because of his arrogance he kept making false assumptions and talking over me when I would correct him because apparently in his "experience" knowing engines thats not the case - He was extremely arrogant and condescending. Ive never seen an attorney work against someone in such a combative and rude manner. It was so frustrating and he kept talking over me and arrogantly trying to throw his alleged experience at me, and basically implying that I am lying to him because, clearly, he cannot be wrong and we must have not maintained the truck - even though I kept telling him we have record of all the maintenance. He also stated that we wouldn't get any Money out of sears for an engine repair, even though I never said that was even our goal - clearly the assumption is we are trying to get something we are not owed. Our goal was to recoup the money we spent on useless repairs that didn't address the issue - if we were mechanics we wouldn't take the truck to a mechanic and we simply expect accurate information when we take the truck to a professional. An attorney needs to give you an accurate depiction of whether or not you have a case and I can understand if he feels we don't have a case, but he should still listen to the complete story, not assume we are trying to extort someone and definitely not be so abusive with his delivery. I understood, given the type of case, I would deal with a very low brow attorney, however he is a new level of classless and unprofessional demeanor I was not expecting. The experience was so awful I hung up and blocked him.
