Extraordinarily bad to deal with. Stay away at all costs. They took >6 weeks just to respond to a request for information, getting just a 10 minute phone call takes 2 weeks waiting, all of my concerns about my visa application were completely brushed off as non issues and were not addressed, resulting in a visa denial. I am out many thousands of dollars in moving costs thanks to GIA and no visa. Supposedly seasoned immigration lawyers couldn’t even bother to draft up a proper letter of support or anything of the sort. Absolutely nothing is handled with any sort of urgency. Countless deadlines were missed. I was told I was going to receive extensive coaching through the visa process which never happened, they refused to respond to any of my emails and will only respond after 10-15 business days to HR emails. Absolutely deplorable in every sense. Not one, but two other law firms I had connected with indicated the paperwork GIA had prepared with extremely shoddy, riddled with errors, and near nonsensical advice.
My employer takes GIA to process my immigration case. They are extremely slow, and they make ridiculous mistakes on simple filing steps. It takes a long time for them to just reply to a simple question each time without making any progress on the case. They know nothing about individuals' status and do not prepare accordingly until meeting fatal blocks. Unprofessional, careless, and it takes forever for them to get things moving forward. They are messing up my case.
They are the worst immigration law firm I have ever came across. Please stay away if you or your employer has partnered with GIA. They are extremely slow in processing your case. A simple H1 extension takes couple of months for them. Forget about perm filing. They cannot even fill the forms correctly and they will realize after filing and they will refile again. They cannot even get simple details correct. They take forever to file any case be it H1 transfer, extension or any stage of perm process. Extremely unprofessional and immature law firm.
Worst Immigration lawyers your employer can have. Bunch of novices who are extremely slow. They don't care about your application even if you are running against time. They take their own time and is now about to cost me my GC after waiting for 17 yrs. I wish I could have my own personal lawyer for EB applications.
This company barely deserves one star. They completely messed up my E3 renewal and also messed up attempts to move me to H1-B. I’ve shared feedback with their team which is never acknowledged. Avoid this company at all costs. I’m now left in a position where I’m considering leaving my employer of 15yrs.
