An absolutely awful woman with questionable ethics. I hired her to handle my divorce and gave her a $7500 deposit that I had to borrow from a friend after my husband conned me out of 500K. Ten days after I gave her the retainer, my husband killed himself. I went back to Golda to see about getting the retainer back and she flat out said NO. After many tears and begging she agreed to give 1/2 of it back. Then she ghosted me. The coward just ghosted me! She would not return any of my calls or calls to her or her son. Never got any money back and she did ZERO work for it. She gives lawyers a bad name...

She is the worst. She messed up my divorce royally. The judge awarded me my ex-husband’s retirement through TRS plus the house. I got the retirement in lieu of child support and money he owed me. He wasn’t helping me with money to raise our child even before the divorce, so he was considered a deadbeat dad. Plus, I had threatening recordings stating that he refused to pay. I have been disabled for years. I don’t have a clear deed to my house because she didn’t have him sign the right papers. I’ve been down to the Harris County Court House, and they couldn’t straighten out the deed even though the divorce papers awarded me the house, and I have made all the payments. I called and called and sent several emails to her about the retirement money he owed me. She kept saying she knew how to handle retirement funds. I kept telling her TRS is different, but she insisted. Finally, my ex, Ms. Jacob, and I all received a letter from TRS stating that they would release the money to whomever responded first. He received the letter before either of us did. We did have an injunction filed against TRS, but they released the funds to him anyway. Ms. Jacob called me in and promised to help me get the money back at no extra charge because I had already paid the ten thousand dollars in full for her services, and all the mistakes were due to her negligence. She said she knew someone in the AG’s office. We took him to court, and he claimed he had spent it all. She never helped me as she had promised. I raised our daughter on my disability. I went to the AG myself, and they couldn’t understand how she had done the papers. They sent it to their lawyer, but I never heard back. The lawyer at legal aide said the papers were a mess as well. I still don’t have clear a deed to the house although the mortgage company assures me it is mine. She is supposed to be the best, but I would stay far, far away.

This lady will stop at nothing to get a party to settle. She called out my son and said he was autistic. I thought there was a little integrity left in the world. This lady is nothing more than a cheap date. Pay the money and she will play.
