I worked with both Ryan and Scott on two divorce cases. 1st divorce with Scott: I got totally screwed over. If you need divorce assistance, be prepared for him to accept whatever the opposing party wants. They will not argue for your best interest. The final decree was completely one-sided, and I’m still suffering the financial consequences of my first divorce today. 2nd Divorce w/Ryan: I had a prenuptial agreement this time. This should have been an easy case, but Ryan still wanted me to settle even though the prenup clearly stated that my house was separate and not subject to division. He will not argue for your best interests. Both attorneys will do whatever the opposing counsel wants. At best, they are terrible negotiators; at worst, they genuinely don’t care about your result as long as they are getting paid. With Ryan, I had to retain a new attorney due to the lack of communication and unwillingness to argue to protect my assets and my life—the other side wanted my restraining order against my husband terminated, and Ryan refused to fight against it. Administrative: The paralegals and support staff genuinely seem like they try to get ahold of the attorneys, but they never call back. Last week, I called him eight times before I got a response. Billing: There is no signed retainer agreement or agreed-upon rate, so they will charge you whatever they want. I filed initial paperwork for the divorce myself, and all Ryan did was read an email that was sent from my husband's lawyer and claimed that I should have been charged more. Speed: Since my divorce had no children, the quickest it could be done is two months. I stayed with Ryan for seven months, and nothing was done on the case—the marriage itself was only six months. There were no significant issues other than the prenuptial misunderstanding on Ryan’s part. Cost: Even though their services might seem cheap. They are cheap for a reason and will cost you way more in the long run. I should have paid for a better attorney in both cases. In the first case, the attorneys pushed me to file bankruptcy instead of splitting the debt with my husband—which is standard practice to split marital debt, not leave it all to one spouse, so now I am suffering and will continue to be denied loans and charged absurd interest rates. Regarding the second divorce, I had to retain another attorney at full cost to undue what Ryan did/did not do. Please don’t waste your money on these attorneys. Find someone who will represent your needs and communicate with you about your case when your life, finances, and/or freedom is on the line.

Scott Mazey is amazing. He made my divorce with 3 children easy as pie. The few times we needed to get things done, he asked me some questions and in no time had everything typed up and ready to be signed. Scott is extremely knowledgeable, polite, and compassionate. He answered all of my questions and offered great advice that fit my personal needs. He went way over and beyond what I ever expected out of the situation I was in. And the price was way less than I expected. The gals in the office were also very helpful and among the nicest women I have ever met. They were always available to answer questions, schedule appointments, and they followed up with me when needed. My sister has seen Ryan Westbrook twice now for 2 very different types of situations. I heard all great things about her experiences as well. She said that Ryan was very nice and also very knowledgeable in regards to her situations. Got the jobs done quickly and inexpensively.

I have used Ryan three times for different types of cases. He won ever case for me!! Great guy and takes time to explain every detail of what's in store! Secretary's have all been very nice and accommodating. Ryan knows his job and does his best! Ill never go anywhere else again!

Don't waste your time or money. He is the biggest scam artest around. They never call you back, they cancel court dates and never reschedule them but will still charge you for them. They make promises but then never holds up to them and denied the promises in court. My husband was better off before we hired him then he is now. We have a $4000+ bill and only went to court once and talked to him on the phone maybe twice.
