I Recently ordered a sympathy gift basket to be delivered to a friend with a complementary personalized card. The basket arrived with no card and my friend didn’t know who sent it. I reached out after not hearing from her to ensure she received it. Very embarrassing. Had it been a boss or acquaintance I sent it to, I never would have even asked and the recipient would never had known I sent it. I emailed customer service my Issue. They sent me what appeared to be automated responses and the only solution offered was to email my friend an apology. How about offer a discount or something, and if anyone should be getting the apology, it’s me. I was shocked by the unprofessionalism of the responses - all from different reps and one even had this in the content: “We apologize for (problem)”. They failed to insert what my problem was! I almost went with a less expensive company but went with Harry and David expecting better customer service. Boy was I wrong. I will never order from them again and will warn friends and family to go elsewhere.

Horrible company! Would not spend $1.00 to buy anything from this group again! Was at one of their main locations at their huge bldg in Medford, Ore. On Nov 19th and looking for number of gifts for family members mostly out of town. The store had some boxes quite big already in boxes orig 79.00 w/ red stickers of $9.98. I bought 7 and left. You have to do better Harry -David. The list of failures appears to show quality is not occurring. What has happened to your control DEPT? Before who-every-you-are produced what was a successful accomplished business with concern for quality, product, and customers. Who are you? It seems a rather graceless and in-over -your-ability to market approach. Slow down, fewer products, what is your focus?

I attempted to place an order today. I reached a noisy call center in North Africa and had a terrible experience. The representative had difficulty hearing over the background noise but also struggled with understanding the English words in the address. I finally gave up after attempting to add an additional item to an order that I made last week but found out that I was going to get charged for the same amount of freight and handling for 1 shipment as I was charged for the 5 gifts that I purchased last week.

We’ve been receiving monthly fruit baskets for years (a gift). The fruit is rarely better than the fruit at our local, ordinary grocery store. Usually, it’s not as good.
