I couldn't be any happier with Mr Mitchell. He handled seven situations in three counties that where holding me up from getting my license back. Not only did he handle it, but I had no convictions for anything other than improper equipment. Plus he was a super nice guy. I showed up to court without a lawyer, I saw him in the hall and told him my situation. He went to the DA and came back out with a new court date for me. Afterwards, I met him at his office and to hammer out the details.

I was given this lawyer by legal aid of North Carolina. I felt like he wasn't focused on representing me and was playing sides between the other party involved and his attorney. I would not recommend him in no civil or criminal case as a defense attorney. I have never come into contact with an attorney who was unprofessional as he was. Do not hire him as an attorney.

Do not recommend Mitch for any kind of criminal cases. He is not equipped as an attny for any kind of defense. I believe his niche is family law but definately not someone you want to defend you on a criminal case especially if you are facing any length of time. He represented my son and he knew my son was not guilty of the crime he was charged with but still chose not to defend him to the best of his ability at all. To quote him he told me he did not want to go up against the Murphy police dept because they all stick together especially in that small town. In other words he didn't have what it took to defend my innocent son of that particular crime because again he does not know how to be a defense attny. Didn't want to create any enemies for himself with the police dept! How sad because now my son took a plea bargain that has him facing 3 yrs in prison as a violent offender which everyone who knows my son including Mitch knows he is the least violent person u will ever meet! No prior violent charges ever and now because Mitch did not put any effort into my son's defense he is marked for life as being a violent person. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MITCH FOR ANY TYPE OF DEFENSE CASES!!! The only reason I even gave him 1 star is so I could leave this non recommendation on here.
