I called Hensley James Attorney at Law seeking advice about my incident were a police officer came halfway in my lane, so I swerved to avoid a collision. The officer did not stop to see if I was alright, he just driving away. I then filed a police report about the incident, the officer I gave the report to said nothing probably will happen bc the officer involved in the incident is about to retire. The man over the phone at the law firm asked if I was looking to sue. I said I want make sure the officer is held accountable for his actions, but my truck does have a wobble when I start to accelerate. He then proceeded to go off on a rant about how I am entitled and so forth. I tried to explain I don’t care about getting money, I care about the officer being held accountable for what he did, just like any civilian would be. He just kept going on and on about that’s what’s wrong with me, I’m entitled and just looking for money. So I asked him if I shouldn’t have swerved and had a head collision, is that the only way there would be repercussions for his actions? Then he hung up
