I'd never had to use an attorney before, but eight years ago a situation with my wife forced me to seek one out. I was at a total loss to know who to go to. In the end, I'm convinced the Lord led me to Herring Chapman. A friend of mine said he went to church with a great attorney, Jason Herring, and gave me Jason's office number. I called Jason for an initial consultation, which was free as their Web site says, and Jason was extremely helpful in explaining matters concerning divorce. It was also very important to me that whoever I chose as an attorney be a morally upstanding individual, and Jason and his team certainly seemed to be so. Incidentally, Jason came to my church to speak to our mens' group later that same year, which showed me that he knew his priorities well. Fast forward seven years, and my wife had been gone more than a year and had started not abiding by our previously agreed-to custody arrangement with our daughter, even implying things that were not true. I called and made an arrangement to meet with Michael Chapman, who proved just as professional, knowledgeable, and kind as Jason had been earlier, not to mention confident in his assessments and very helpful in explaining what was important in the case.
