Unprofessional, careless, the sectary is hateful, and whoever handles the deeds in the office is not capable of handling simple task such as transfering names on a property deed and then filing it. What should only take a few days took months. My husband brought the second deed to the office along with a map. [Not sure why he would go back for round two]! Months pass again and he recieved a call from whoever handles the billing, telling him he needs to go pay for the first deed. He told them respectfully, his wife paid months ago in the office, with a debit card. That deed was never filed! A few more months pass while waiting on the second deed and he eventually started calling them every day. The lady on the phone repeats the same thing everyday including getting his name and number. Then he is told he needs to make an appointment to go in. He already dropped a map off, provided all the information needed. why would he need to go back in? He takes off early from work, and arrived to the rude llady telling him, oh the lawyer isn't here today! To this day, no deed from this office and they lost our map. We went to another attorneys office (on the opposite side of the court house C.S) that handled our deed within an appropriate amount of time.
Mrs. Lora Rigsbee at Hester Grady & Hester in Elizabethtown NC recently helped me get my LLC for my business I want to give that law firm a big shout out. Thank you. Skinner’s Generator PM Service, LLC
I wouldn't use them, again, for real estate legal services. Almost got charged for pre-paid legal services, but I saw it before I was charged for it.
This firm has been awesome in helping us resolve our issue this week. They were very friendly and professional. We’ll definitely be using them for our future legal needs.
There are good people at the firm. However, one lady in the front office is just down right rude. I was told by the attorney to follow up if I have not heard from him by a certain time. So I followed up on multiple occasions, the front office staff promised an update by next day each time but never did. After multiple tries, I called again for an update on the case, the lady on the phone repeated the same previous response. So this time I finally brought up my concerns, then the lady spoke rudely and asked in a very frustrated voice "What else do you want us to do?" and my phone call was rushed to an end. How about take care of your clients and keep your commitments. And when you fail to do so on multiple occasions, how about reassure your customer that your law firm belongs in business and not treat your customer rudely for expecting professionalism. This is table stakes to be a law firm, or any business. If this firm cannot do this simple thing right, how can it be expected to win legal cases.
