I specifically asked if the lawyer would be able to help me with the case (before paying for the consultation) I was told they would be able to do this. I paid and had the consultation but after a few days I got the phone call saying unfortunately they couldn't represent me. I spent a lot of money (and asked several times) for this before paying for the consultation. Mr. Holden is probably a very good lawyer, but she hasn't dealt fairly with me
Travenia Holden was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to do business with. She worked closely with my elderly parents and it was a good feeling to know they felt comfortable and trusted her. I highly recommend Ms. Holden for help and guidance with elderly law.
Excellent, top notch law firm. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Attorney Holden was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in a manner suitable to someone who had little to no knowledge in law terminology. Highly recommended for elderly law, wills, estate planning, and other law-related matters.
Travenia Holden seems like a genuinely nice person, and an honest person. She will not swindle you or change how much she is charging. I will preface my more negative feedback with the fact that she had some health issues during the time of completing my will that caused some personal disruption for her. My experience might have been better without those health issues occurring. It was very hard to get timely replies from her office, and when they would finally reply - sometimes months later - the information didn't align with what we'd previously talked about. It seems as though communication between staff members at her office is poor, which complicated the matter. Worst of all, Travenia seemed to get annoyed with me when I would ask questions or ask for edits or clarification to the documents. Her patience with me was thin, and I often worried that she would choose to stop working with us, given how clearly annoyed she was with follow up questions. Again, this may be partly because of her personal level of stress and the fact that I live in Nashville and we were doing everything by phone and email, which she made clear she would never do again. My biggest issue was that I was genuinely trying to get wills completed in good faith, and the process took well over one year, with no delays on my end.
Excellent communicator. Easily available by email and/ or phone. Absolute professional and second to none regarding her knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and approval. When I seen the amount of work and intricate details required to process a Medicaid app, I could not believe I considered doing this myself! I was very satisfied with Travenia and would highly recommend her.
