This company is the most coldhearted rudest company I’ve ever dealt with my mother had cancer for the past year. I was having trouble making payments. Then my mother passed away November 21 of 2024, so they decided to take me to court instead of working with me over $641 when I called them to explain they didn’t care they didn’t want to hear anything. They were taking me to court now they’re gonna try to probably going to garnish my wages after I just lost my mother I’ve never ever seen or heard of anybody else. Dealing with somebody this rude human beings act this way over money.

these people are relentless about pursuing debt, as in they are debt collectors. Look under Title 15 Mississippi code regarding" fraud and unwritten contracts." Unwritten contracts etc in my opinion (debt collectors) is a person or business that has purchased a closed account and a "bad" debt. No one I know in Mississippi has contracts or agreements to pay a debt collector, which seems to be what Jacob Law does. He certainly isn't family law. He must have sued me before, but I'm not sure. He seems to know me, but considering he is pursing a closed account from 3 years ago, he is now representing a debt collector, I really have no binding contract with a debt collector. no one does. Harrasment is basically all a debt collector is/does and that is what this is. update: 4-2025 Jacob Law, doing business as "Lexington Law" was sued in a class action lawsuit by the Consumer Financial Protection Board for defrauding people, as in running a credit repair company that didn't really do anything. I received a check from the CFPB in the settlememt, which returned my fees I had paid in.

Extremely rude! Got a missed called from them, made me wait 20min and just hang up on me! Super unprofessional! Y’all called me first and refused to give me any information but ask my SSN ? That’s stupid !

They will lie and make promises that they will later deny and act dumb about. When you try to pay them, their staff have absolutely no idea what’s going on. The first time I called, this lady was completely ignorant and just turned off her brain and would not listen about what was going on with my case. It took two weeks to finally get ahold of someone competent enough to hold a conversation with.

The people who answer the phone are very rude and unprofessional to say the least. They lie and give you false information to get what they want. However, I did speak with a supervisor who was nice. Only after requesting to speak with a supervisor after getting nowhere with the receptionist or whatever title she holds. Several of them were rude!! They hang up in your face for asking questions that they don't want to answer. I would not recommend using them. Also, I paid off a debt with them years ago and they are saying I still owe a balance which I know I paid it off to 0 balance. They will also try to collect on debts that are past the statue of limitations. Watch out for that as well.
