If I could give a 0 rating I would. My wife and I hired this attorney through our mother in August. He cashed our check within 4 days then we didn't hear back from him for 6 weeks and about 30 phone calls later. When he took our case, he said he should be completely done in 6-9 months and that he had nearly all the paperwork completed already. This attorney has missed filing deadlines for us on 9/25, 11/09, then another on 12/01. We are now at day (roughly 110) passed the date of furnishing him his retainer, and he has filed NOTHING. This man should lose his bar license and also people should research public records on this man, they are quite disgraceful for an attorney. Remember it took him (4) days to cash our check for payment and nearly 110 days without filing any motions. Don't walk from this man RUN FROM HIM!!! Update.... Mr. Starks response below is that I am not his client although the property he is filing on is my property with whom my wife and I purchased with her grandmother. I have a contract issued directly to my mother-in-law and we paid the fees for Mr. Stark we originally have communication from this unprofessional man dating back to July 2017 it is now January 2019 he has filed a motion that he promised would be approved and it was rejected. He promised he would re-file the motion with no additional fees because he put a cap on the fees now he is no longer responding to phone calls. I am going to be reporting this man it to the California bar association for misconduct and we will be thinking about taking him to small claims court.
