I called my Insurance company Fraud Hotline and reported them, then called my attorney. They said I owed a Dr. Bill and I was at that Dr. last week with a zero balance. They have breached personal information they should not have access to. I am pursuing legal charges. I hope they get hit with a class action lawsuit.
Scam company. Trying to "collect" on a medical debt when I have a payment plan setup with the hospital. Part of what's wrong with America's health insurance system
This company calls me EVERY SINGLE DAY. The call is either completely silent or I get an automated recording saying ask the representatives are busy please wait, then the call disconnects. I don't know what they want, how they got my money or how to make them duck off.
I was first contacted by a guy from this agency about a debt I do owe, told him I would set up a payment plan but he never called me back to get my information (probably a good thing). I was then asked if I had other debts with the hospital (which is illegal, he cannot ask that). He was very rude and unprofessional. After trying to call and not being able to get a hold of anyone, even being called by them, put onhold and hung up on, I just called the hospital myself and set up a payment plan. I mentioned this company was trying to collect on that bill, and the hospital didn't know what I was talking about.
I've called during business hours and been "first in line" only to get a voicemail and then I read these reviews which make me wonder about how these guys do business. For those reading this: I was able to pay the original creditor my debt and then disputed with the credit bureau that they can verify with that creditor that the account has been paid. Involving this collection agency was not required.
