My experience is from a court appointed perspective. I can only assume because he was appointed to me and not actually retained by me I didn't get a good defense or a defense at all really. Was just informed that the appeal I need was expired months ago because we only had 10 days to appeal it but I was never given that option or made aware of it. The only reason my felonies were dropped to misdemeanors was because my mother being a character witness for the DA. My mom also advocated for me to have no probation fees. So my now deceased mother was more of my attorney than he was. He was there just for the ride because I had to put all the work in to get my cases closed. It's truly sad the system we are apart of. The saying goes they have to give you a defense but doesn't mean it has to be a good one. The hoops I jumped through to get my cases resolved were all by my doing. I literally cant name one thing he was able to accomplish for me other than asking the judge (moms idea) for no probation fees. Yes I made my bed to get into trouble but what's the point of having any lawyer if they're not going to treat you the same as a paying customer. It's still the profession you chose to be in.

This man is one of the most ignorant, rude, & obnoxious human beings I have ever came across. He acts like a child rather than a lawyer. I truly feel bad for his significant other (if he has one) there's no need in such drama from a man.

Mr Basinger is a kind and knowledgeable attorney you can count on him to take care of your law needs he's very diverse and if he's unavailable to assist you he I'll help with a recommendation to another firm that he trusts. I just adore him and so will You

He needs a new paralegal that doesn’t look and speak like she just woke up from a nap. She is sloppy with paperwork and loses important forms needed for your case. As for John, it would be nice if he would actually meet his clients or when you complain about the paralegal then he should communicate with you. If we are paying you then be professional and speak to your clients. Don’t have a woman that is rude, lounging around in a T-shirt and always late to work be the one who is handling your case. We were referred here by another attorney in a different county and I must say this is NOT what we expected!
