This law firm is excellent. They have helped guide me through several issues in the last few years, including divorce, child support enforcement, and parenting time. In my opinion, child advocacy is a real strong suite for this firm. I completely recommend them for any family law needs.

I had an attorney for almost 8 months and had a situation arise in which I needed new counsel and hired Jolein Harro. Upon meeting Jolein I immediately felt I was in capable hands and had an instant rapport with her one usually only establishes over time. I was in a heated contested divorce with a high net worth spouse who did not want to give me any settlement at all much less what I was legally entitled being equity in the marital home. Jolein had a good relationship with my spouse's law firm which my former attorney was struggling with. That relationship was professional and a much needed relief in negotiations. Jolein quickly got her arms around the case file and was with me every step of the way. Mediation was less than satisfactory but Jolein was able to soften up the other side and present reality that my spouse was not previously willing listen to. On the day before the permanent orders hearing Jolein spent nearly 6 hours on the phone with my spouse's attorney and at the end of the day we finally reached a settlement I could agree to. Jolein and her staff are consulate professionals and I would not hesitate to hire her again. Top Shelf!

Jolein and her staff were incredibly kind, patient, and wise as they guided what was a very difficult, messy divorce through to the end. At a time when your emotions are unpredictable, you need an attorney that is reliably calm, level-headed, and looking out for your best interest beyond the immediate moment - and pays attention to the law. Jolein helped me make decisions and reach a resolution that I was able to walk away from and start my life over again with my head held high. What a joke. Rude, impersonal and lacking any empathy at all. I paid for a three hour consultation in which I presented the post divorce havoc my ex had created. Jolien expressed how unfairly I had been treated during the divorce and how unjust the final orders were. I then explained how my ex had used the unfair orders to take my children from me, bankrupt my company and financially. I also explained how I had recently discovered that my ex-wife had multiple reports of child abuse filed against her and showed proof of current child abuse. Jolien assured me she could help as soon as I paid the large retainer. After spending 2 weeks desperately trying to acquire the funds I was left with no choice but to sell my truck. On the eve of the first hearing I called the office to let them know I had sold my truck for more than the retainer but the bank would not make the funds available for 2 days, the rude woman in charge of finance stated there was nothing they could do and refused to help me find a solution and suggested I find another firm, hours before my hearing. So as I sit here with no vehicle and no representation for tomorrows hearing I thought I would share how rude and greedy this outfit was. I understand that they need to be assured the bills can be covered, but to turn down representation when offered proof that accounts receivables exist that can be paid in several days, its tacky, Especially when there is the safety of children at stake.

I can't express how grateful I am to Jolein and her staff so far. They have listened to me and advised me on what I should and shouldn't be doing. I listen and understood that I needed to be proactive myself in my divorce. I couldn't have asked for better legal representation in this difficult time of my life.
