Started my case in Feb 2022 and that’s when things went downhill. Due to this firm dropping the ball on scheduling the trial date, my ex was allowed to retain a lawyer well after 20 days was up and extend the court hearing 3 months out. Over the course of this extension, the person handling my case changed 5 separate times. I was only notified that “your previous lawyer no longer is at this firm” when I reached out via email or phone call. Regarding the phone calls: being on hold and listening to the recording state the mission statement of “the client will always be informed” made this whole process so much more frustrating then it should have been. To just pour more salt in the wound- my representation changed 2 weeks before my hearing!! This gave me no choice but to accept the horrible communication practices performed by this firm as it was to late to find another attorney. Everyone’s experience may not be the same but listen to your gut if you do choose to be represented by this firm. If you haven’t heard from anyone in 3 weeks or so- call to ensure that your representation hasn’t changed. The chance of YOU being contacted by the firm to notify you is extremely slim.

Mr. Kevin Connor was amazing with my case and am truly blessed with the outcome. My ex wife was trying to relocate nearly 4 hours away with my two kids but with help of Kevin and his team they are staying here! Thanks again Kevin and Kenny Leigh and Associates. Rescheduled appointment after appointment. Called to meet, after 3rd reschedule, & was told mr. Connor was in court & would probably have to reschedule. Told paralegal either he meets as scheduled or return my retainer. Received an email a few minutes later apologizing & saying he would meet as scheduled....funny since he was supposed to be in court. Going to retain another attorney. This one scares me.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SAY "I HAVE MAJORITY OF CUSTODY THANKS TO MY LAWYER AND HIS TEAM". As a man, having kids in a wedlock family isn't easy to obtain any rights without legal help. Basically men are sperm donors in the eyes of Florida law unless stipulated by a judge or marriage. But that didn't stop Mr. Connor. Mr. Connor is amazing, I really don't know if I'm just lucky. Mr. Connor promised me something and delivered more than what he promised. He has never steered me wrong and would always be up for any challenge. Any request of mine was like a demand to Mr. Connor. Im also very lucky to have Sarah Camacho, which she answered any to all my questions. If she did not have the answer, she would call me back after she had an answer. I will also thank my paralegal team which on the top of my head I only remember Kimberly Mitchell. Overall the Kenny Leigh and Associates team in Gainesville are the best. The only thing that had me freaking out is the price to obtain this help. Mr. Connor was generous enough to help me thru a brief moment of my financial struggles. Money didn't stop him from doing whats right. Also you pay for quality as well. This team is like family to me. Mr. Connor is my hero and will forever be MY HERO.
