Reviews

We attended a seminar conducted by Patrick Cawley of Keystone Elder Care. The seminar was eye opening for us as Patrick explained the whole process in easy to understand language. We had been looking into what was involved in settling our affairs upon our death, a subject which, for obvious reasons, we had put off discussing. We were impressed with the seminar presented by Patrick and we set up an appointment to discuss further what our options were. In addition to Patrick's knowledge of the issues we were even more impressed with his demeanor and calmness. He was informative and asked all the right questions to ascertain our needs. In addition to the plan created for us we can also call them anytime we have questions at no extra costs. That was important to us because our heirs live out of state and were encouraged to call the office with any questions they may have. He and his whole staff were very friendly and respectful. We would wholeheartedly recommend Keystone Elder Care.
After watching a short video from Patrick about the importance of having your estate plan up to date, we contacted Keystone and had an initial phone conversation. We also watched additional videos and then realized that we had a number of things to update and put in place. We signed on with Patrick at Keystone in January, 2023 and have recently completed all of our documents regarding our estate. It does not matter how much or how little you have this is an important step as we get older. We have been so impressed with the professionalism of Patrick and Keystone Elder Law and we would recommend them to anyone. This is something very important that many people do not do or put off until it's too late. Take our advice, don't delay in doing this. I am currently 73 and Paula is 68; however, we have friends who have had accidents or passed away before taking care of personal matters. Respectfully, Kip Keperling
Keystone Elder Law P.C. updated my father's trust when my mother passed away in 2011. Recently my father passed away and I cannot thank Keystone Elder Law P.C. for the thorough work they completed on my father's trust. There are so many things that need to be taken care of when a parent passes away and Keystone made this process so much easier. I especially want to express my thanks to Jane Calvert-Mayo for the detailed information she gathered and emailed to help me close out my father's trust. Her knowledge and expertise was amazing and she went above and beyond to answer my questions over the phone and provided forms and instructions. Jane is a tremendous asset to Keystone and I am so grateful for all the assistance that she gave to me. I highly recommend Keystone Elder Law P.C. to anyone seeking legal assistance with wills and trusts.
My husband and I had been procrastinating for a number of years regarding having our last wills and testaments, financial powers of attorney and our durable health care powers of attorney/health care treatment instructions (living wills) prepared by an attorney. The task always seemed so overwhelming and let's face it, also somewhat depressing. It wasn't until I received an email from Keystone Elder Law offering a free online video to learn more about all of these items that I decided it was time to take action. I am so glad that I did! I watched the free online video facilitated by Attorney Patrick Cawley. He presented the content in laymen's terms and pointed out the importance of having these documents versus how things can go terribly wrong without them. I was very pleased with his legal background and wide expanse of knowledge and expertise with elder law. I immediately called to make an appointment. We completed some preliminary paperwork about ourselves and our assets so he could prepare for our initial meeting. The entire process was very streamlined and comfortable from beginning to end! It was far from being overwhelming as I had once envisioned. My husband and I are very pleased and so glad that we are now prepared for the future and can enjoy our retirement worry free. We both highly recommend Keystone Elder Law.
We were introduced to Keystone Elder Law through one of their seminars. We have had our wills and POA’s updated several times. Before Patrick, our attorneys never introduced a trust as a means of addressing estate planning and long-term care planning. In addition, no attorney ever discussed the Medicaid annuity as a strategy for estate preservation. Patrick took the time to explain how the documents complemented each other and how the strategy worked for our benefit. We highly recommend Keystone Elder Law.
