I had the displeasure of dealing with Lisa Litton. I was the Plaintiff acting in Pro Se (as my own attorney). She defended the person I was suing. I highly recommend you record any private communication with her. When the Judge asked us to try to settle I gave her my terms and she lied to two judges about what the term was in order to not make her client look like a fool for not taking the deal. Two judges? After I filed my civil suit against her client months later she filed a defamation suit against me because her client didn't like I was saying she stole from me and broke our contract. In the defamation suit Litton twisted the facts and did not include the document that would have refuted her claim. She also was supposed to submit the initial disclosures 14 days after my answer and didn't submit them for almost two months. Litton sent me an email on a Friday night telling me we had paperwork to submit to the judge by the following Tuesday and I better get it to her by Monday at 3 pm. I had spent all weekend away from my family researching to understand how to respond to the paperwork. She knew this paperwork needed to be submitted for over two months and waited until the last minute. During my deposition she stuttered and was confused and didn't know how to respond to my answers against her client. In court she showed cowardace when she failed to take responsibility for not filing the dismissal when the Judge told her to. Instead she allowed me to take the blame. Email communications with her were condescending, harassing and accusatory. And when she missed a deadline to respond to my motion requesting discovery evidence, she gave me the evidence and claimed to do it under "the spirit of cooperation." I have delt with unethical attorneys in the past, both killed themselves. This woman is in the same class.

Reading this review from Zach Jacobs about Denis McCarthy only verifies his incompetence. He acted in the same manner in my divorce case. In deposition he advised me not to respond to even the fact that my ex wife had stolen money prior to the divorce. He never opened his mouth in the deposition or in mediation. He even spent tome in mediation counting how many judges were in a photo. He even decide to try and quit by sending me an email after hours on a friday prior to an early monday morning court appearance. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ATTORNEY. He even had the audacity to request AVVO to remove my very accurate review.

I had Lisa Litton as my attorney. She was very unprofessional and impersonal. When I express my concerns she suggested finding another attorney. I thought since I was paying her a very good amount of money that I would have a say in how the case was conducted. Apparantly Not. She was very impersonal. I felt as if all she did for me was the paperwork. BOTH times we appeared in court, she barely said two words. When the judge or magistrate asked her a question she would fumble with her words and start flipping through her stack of papers looking for something to say. After having multiple meetings with her that lasted almost a cpl hours each, you would think she wouldn't have to fumble through papers for an answer. When the judge sent his final judgement in the mail, all I received was an email that basically said "here you go, let me know if you have any questions". The email wasnt even from Lisa, it was from her paralegal. I was not upset at the fact that I did not get what I was asking for from the courts, I was upset at the lack of heart and common courtesy from Lisa. Not so much as an email from her or a call about the fact that we lost our case. There was no follow up at all. Havent heard from her since. Besides the bill of course.

Mr. Turkelson and the Staff are the epitome of professionalism and courtesy. Any questions that I needed answered regarding the services that they provided me were always speedy and extremely informative. I felt the passion that Mr Turkelson worked on my case. Not only is he my Attorney but provided a great experience in handling my case in a time of need! Thanks again to the Staff and Attorney Tim Turkelson for a great job.

Go elsewhere!!! Spoke with Valerie and was "working" with a man out of the Caro office. We started in October, I asked if we could be in court by December and they assured me it could be done by the end of November at the latest... they didnt even pull the case file until December as it was denoted on the billing!!! Absolutely ZERO CONTACT. It took 2-3 emails and days in between to get any response. Calls were not answered, nor returned ever, and messages were left with my name and number so there was no excuse. Asked for a refund of the remaining retainer so I could get somebody to actually work my case, and that was a week ago with no contact since. I recommend going somewhere else, my service was so bad, I can't help but question the integrity of anyone whom rated it highly. Just saying.
