In early 2019 I owned a sailboat in the alawai, With an overheating problem. John, dba jmmarine, after a couple attempts to fix it, convinced me that he had a small Janmar Engine that he could slip the old engine out and slide the new in, and it would be as good as a new one as he was replacing rings and bearings. After a couple deadlines that he set Blew by with no movement I just told him to return the $2400 down payment he took. Now he has been dodging me and lieing going on 3 years now, and he still refuses to refund my money

As beautiful as Maui is, the prices were ridiculous. The food is extremely over prized and not very good. I understand some of the locals don’t want us there and it was very obvious. Locals slashed our tires and threw fruit at our cars. They kept on yelling for us to go home! This is a shame because I’m pretty sure it’s our money that keeps the island going. Please look into this because I will not be returning after this kind of treatment. I know not all feel this way but it’s those few that are ruining it for the rest of us
