First off I just want to say I have known Andre for 20+ years and ever since I have known him he has been an intelligent stand up guy. When I heard the news of the situation my son was in, he was the first person I could think of! Back story: My son was accused of threatening to bomb a school (prank call). As you can imagine, a situation like this can be devastating for a parent and it was! I called Andre immediately and he assured me that he could help me out and made us feel comfortable about our case. I had full trust in him! Originally the school made a decision to expell my son his 8th and 9th grade year and jail time, but after we appealed the decision he was reinstated back in school and no jail time!! This was Andre's first time doing a case like this and he won!!! This case was in Florida and Andre stayed in contact with us the whole time and showed up everytime!! If you need a lawyer that will fight for you, Andre Smith is the right guy for the job!! I highly recommend him!! Best lawyer in the south!!!

I Have a hard time believing that these reviews are truthful and accurate and are most likely friends of his. Based upon MY PERSONAL experience with Mr. Smith, I found him to be arrogant and ill informed of certain aspects of the law. During our "discussion" i tried explaining to Mr. Smith that UNDER GEORGIA LAW and UNDER THE RULES of THE SUPREME COURT of THE UNITED STATES the court has found that when an indictment is defective, insufficient, etc. and fails to allege the essential elements of the crime a defendant's guilty plea is INVALID as a defendant CANNOT Knowingly, voluntarily, and intelligently enter a plea of guilty to an indictment or count that CHARGES NO CRIME! This is BASIC LAW and COMMON KNOWLEDGE amongst REAL ATTORNEYS! However, Mr. Smith was too arrogant to accept this FACT OF LAW and even refuse to look at CASE LAWS that i was willing to supply him in support of these FACTS! Mr. Smith seems to have the belief that he has learned all there is to know about the law and he cannot be educated any further or taught anything new.. or at least taught anything by those that he views as inferior to him. This type of attitude will cost any PRUDENT DEFENDANT HIS FREEDOM! and he may very well be represented INEFFECTIVELY especially if you have an attorney that refuses to learn anything about the law that he may not know about or that he maybe misinformed about. So based upon his actions I would definitely not recommend his services and would advise any and all people seeking a REAL ATTORNEY to look elsewhere and seek an attorney that will HEAR YOU OUT and not take offense when he is shown different sides of the law because he wants to be the smartest person in the room. And his co-counsel Ms. McQueen ... God Bless her heart because you can tell that this child literally knows NOTHING about the law and is just learning as she goes along and is leaning on Smith as her legal coach and that is absolutely scary. BEWARE!!!
