I met Attorney David Shepard because my Aunt’s conservator had and still is not doing her job as conservator of person and conservator of finances at the time we first spoke. Dave took over as conservator of finances. Things are slowly coming together. Hopefully he will be my aunt’s conservator of person soon. What I liked about him when we first spoke on the phone was that he was straight to the point. You always know where you stand with him. He truly cares about my Aunt and her wellbeing and goes above and beyond. However the conservator of person has not made it easy for him to do his job. I know that Dave will be successful in helping my Aunt. I am very lucky and my aunt is very lucky to have him working on our side. EiLeen DEE

We hired David last year to help us with custody and adoption. When we met with him, we knew he was the lawyer we wanted. He was always quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. He was always chasing down people to help speed our case along. The day we met with the judge, everything went exactly how he said it would. The judge wanted to wait for a waiting period before we could do an urgent name change, and he stepped right in, explained the urgency needed, and we had the paperwork we needed delivered to us personally by the end of the day. He exceeded all of our expectations, knew everyone (from judge, to DCF to other lawyers) involved in our case and how to do what they needed to get it done. Prices are absolutely fair and he would send us detailed receipts of where our money was spent (between court fees and time etc...) so we always had a handle on what we owed. His quote came in down the the exact dollar on the cost (he gave a range, and we were right on bottom of the range when it was all said and done). If you need a great lawyer, you would be ill advised not to reach out.
