Reviews

This firm is a class act. They go above and beyond to represent their clients while remaining as compassionate and understanding as possible to homeowners given the unfortunate circumstances. I would also like to say that the previous reviewers lack understanding of the process - Mankin Law Group works under the direction of your HOA, so they are performing their duties for their clients. They didn't put you in the situation you find yourself in, but if you communicate with them (in a kind and professional manner) they will assist you in getting out of it.
Truly the only people that can be writing positive reviews about this law office are the management companies or HOA boards that deal with them. There is not one homeowner in their right mind that would give more than a 1 star review to this firm. The alleged collection efforts and the high fees on my past due account are excessive. I received one late notice from my HOA and was turned over to this law office by my HOA's management company. I understand being charge late fees and interest but what I don't understand is $157 Association Collection Costs, $75 Deed/Title/Bankruptcy Search & the $175 in Attorney's Fees and Cost. The Association, Management company and Law firm spent more money and time buying the envelope and stamp to put the late notice in than they did in their collection efforts. I was sent ONE, let me say that again, I was sent ONE late notice and charged all those extra fees. There were no phone calls, no attempts to reach out to me, no additional letters (except for the 2 sent out at the same time by the attorney), nor was I years late paying my dues. My dues were owed on July 1, late by August 1st, and at this law office by September 25. I am not a deadbeat, I missed a payment, that's all... Should I be charged a late fee? Absolutely! Should I be charged interest? Meh, but okay. Should I be charged $394 in fees that they refuse to explain? Nope! I am so disgusted and wish I knew what recourse I had to voice a complaint against this law office.
The whole office is professional and were very willing to work me. Thank you so much for being understanding!
Very courteous and understanding of homeowners situations. Thank you.
Unethical, unprofessional and rude. HOA issue, as others have read, I was behind due to a job loss, however, when asked for a breakdown of fees in writing, I never received anything. This it was a few years back, and I realized as I was looking back through accounting. , I realized they never provided this information. The fees were ridiculous, thousands of dollars. I will he reporting them to the Florida Bar as should everyone who has complained on here.
