The experience was pretty much the experience of the 1 star review from a month ago where they became unresponsive after getting the money. It was obvious that some drafts sent to us were they were just reusing but it was still somehow filled with typos and references to the people who used the drafts before. I was fine with that, but then I asked some very basic questions about the draft and waited a couple days and asked when they might be able to get back to us. They said "we have other clients, so maybe in a couple days." A week passes and no response. This is fine if my needs weren't extremely simple, but if you have so many clients that you can't handle an extremely simple client that should probably take a few hours of work to handle, then maybe you shouldn't be taking on more clients.

Initially, the Janice Roven gave me hope for a positive legal outcome. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded when, after paying the retainer fee, the lawyer became unresponsive. They stopped returning my calls and emails, leaving me in the dark about the progress of my case. This abrupt lack of communication was not only frustrating but also left me feeling abandoned during a crucial time. While the lawyer's initial empathy was promising, their subsequent ghosting was a major letdown, serving as a cautionary reminder to maintain vigilance when selecting legal representation.
