A licensed lawyer in both Illinois and Missouri, Lloyd M. Cueto has been passionate about helping his clients achieve their desired results since 2007, when he began his law career as an Assistant Public Defender for St. Clair County. Since then, he has served as a Commissioner on the Illinois Court of Claims, served on the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association Board of Managers, and started his own law practice as The Law Office of Lloyd M. Cueto. Focusing on providing personal and superior attention to his clients, his practice offers expertise in the areas of personal injury, criminal defense and class actions/mass torts.

Originally from Belleville, Illinois, he opened his practice in his hometown driven by a desire to help people; specifically, those who feel lost and unsupported when it comes to defending themselves in a legal setting. Cueto was raised amongst many family members with legal careers: His father recently retired from his position as a judge on the Circuit Court of St. Clair County, and his uncle also has a law practice in Illinois.

Cueto received his Juris Doctorate degree in 2007 from Saint Louis University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to that he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 with a B.A. in Political Science.

Lloyd Cueto is a member of several legal associations, including the St. Clair County Bar Association, the East St. Louis Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the National Association for Criminal Defense Lawyers, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association.
