Lorena Smalls is a phenomenal attorney. I was so incredibly fortunate to have her represent me in both my child custody case AND my child support case. Not only did she provide excellent counsel but she went above and beyond to minimize the impact/disruption the proceedings had on my life and my bank account. Ms. Smalls would expedite proceedings when possible and was "no-nonsense" when it came to the opposing party and counsel intentionally dragging their feet, or worse, making attempts for bogus motions and unnecessary hearings. She worked with my busy schedule and was always prompt in her responses to my questions or concerns. Ms. Smalls also did me the courtesy of applying discounted rates whenever possible as well as always explaining all of my options and things to consider each time we moved forward so that I could plan economically. I hired Ms Smalls for a divorce, enforcement of agreement and some visitation issues. She had me divorced within 6 weeks of our consultation and I was able to stay in my home because of her and I got my attorneys fees paid. You can’t ask for much better than that. She is up front and will tell you how it is, but that’s actually very comforting to me. I highly recommend her.
