I originally retained him for a criminal case stemming from a DMV case. I quickly realized the family law attorney I had retained was not proactively working my case, so I had to relieve him and get my retainer back. Mr. Southard was kind enough to take over both cases and even helped me get my funds back from the 1st attorney that was ignoring my messages. Richard is so thorough he started catching the opposing counsels on BOTH cases unprepared.
