I had the unfortunate experience of both working for him and dealing with his greed for money, women, cars. He's a walking clichè, and he's proud of it. He left his wife of 20+ years to cheat, then have a faux wedding in Hawaii when he wasn't even legally divorced yet, and has no problem charging $200 to a client for a three line e-mail that takes him 15 minutes to write. He lives way above his means, and had his brand new sports car delivered to the office on the same day as several overdraft notices. Plus, he forgot to pay me....TWICE in three months?! Three months later, I did what 4 predecessors had done, I walked out! He has the worse reputation in the Bat Area for not being able to keep a secretary. Even his associates can't wait to move on. Just ask Michelle Jacobson-Kwok, who tolerated him until she had the experience to open her own office. He should be reported and disbarred. He's a disgrace to the legal community!
