Well I really had high hopes for Ray Wigell. When we first went in for the initial consultation Ray said "I don't do plea deals" "I am a fighter" we thought we had a great lawyer for my daughter, but the reality was far from the high end lawyer Ray claimed to be..... his "team" turned out to be 1 guy.... that show up for court appearances in his behalf. There were no motions filed, no real attempts at breaking down the prosecutions case.....my daughter who was eventually convinced that pleading guilty was her best option... especially after the lackluster performance from "team Wigell"..... overall very disappointed in Ray's performance, and ultimately my daughter had to plead guilty in order to avoid a loss at trial. We had come to realize we had very little chance at trial with the lack of enthusiasm from Wigell. If asked I could NOT in good conscience recommend Ray Wigell for any criminal defense.
