Richard McConathy and his associates took my DWI case. They were responsive to my questions and thorough in their responses. For the charge I got as good of an outcome as I could've without being thoroughly gouged in my wallet.

This firm is clearly superior. Timely response and activity, quality counsel, successful defense. Even years after dismissal, counsel was provided of first quality, and active defense.

I needed an attorney for my son, I found this office through a web search and passed on that information to him. He went to see Richard and hired him. I paid the $1,000 deposit and my son paid the remaining $7,000 for his defense. The case took about a year and a half to get to court, oddly that is about how long it took my son to pay the $7,000 he owed. After a few months my son complained about Richard's handling of the case. I told him I would sit in the next meeting. We brought up my son's concerns and Richard's answers seemed solid, we believed he was the right choice even though he was pretty arrogant with his choice of words. We thought that was a good sign. The day of the hearing he gave us about a five minute prepatory talk before we went in. Once in, he pretty much let the DA do all the talking. I was shocked at the lack of defense he put up. The DA was actually more arrogant than he was. My son didn't help his case by denying the evidence presented although he did plead guilty as Richard asked him to do. My son did all the things asked of him to do while he was on bail awaiting the hearing which cost several thousand dollars and in the end, the sentence he handed to him is the same he would have most likely received if he had no attorney at all. A court appointed attorney would have done a better job in our opinion. Mr. McConathy, don't apologize for your less than adequate performance nor ask me to reach out to you, I've already reached out twice and never received a response. The last words you said to me before walking off was "call me if you need something". We paid $8,000 for your services and received a $500 defense. Had I read your reviews before hiring your office I most likely wouldn't have. All the negative reviews are right on the money and are the same opinions we reached before even reading them. The positive opinions I have to question. Would I recommend your services? No I wouldn't.

I’ve know this law for for over 6 years. They’ve done some amazing work. They do charge a high price and I asked Richard about it and he said “you’re paying for the works, I’ll I’m showing you how it works”, and it shows. They have a polished practice an a refined law firm. I recommend them to anyone I know.

after paying all that money I gave them just to get a copy of my file just to see and read they wasn't even fighting my case I wish I can get more into detail about things but I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. thanks for the service I could've got from a court appointed lawyer. y'all trash
