As a young single mother of 4 children with a disabled son, a life long Middletown resident, in the beginning of a nasty divorce, trying to get back on my feet after a house fire a few short years ago claimed everything we owned except the clothes on our backs.. I left a 5 year position at a very well known and respected medical specialist office in Red Bank to join Mr. Monaghans team. Only to be fired, on the spot! As if I stole from him or did something terrible or unforgiving yet, nothing had transpired. I was attacked and humiliated with no real reason, no warning, completely blindsided and out of no where, so he could save a buck. This, 1 week before Thanksgiving and 2 weeks after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Because of this man, we face homelessness. I have never personally faced such callous, heartless and cold behavior before and have never been treated so poorly in any situation. Never left an employer on bad terms.
