If I could rate them 0 I would. I got an email from Venns attorneys saying I owe FlowPath Laborotory. I called FlowPath and I was advise they have no knowledge of me owing them. I emailed asked Venns Attoneys asking them to send me the invoice for the cost they say I owe (Invoice that FlowPath would have sent me). I even called the PMB branch, they keep transferring me to people who never respond. Their services is awful. No one can give me answers.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent encounter I had with one of your candidate attorneys, Ms. Kishalia Govender, from your Westville branch. The incident took place on Friday, June 26, 2023, and has left me with grave concerns regarding the professionalism and values upheld by Venn Attorneys. On the aforementioned date, I received an unsolicited phone call from a woman named Sue, claiming to represent Venn Attorneys in relation to a specific matter. After the call ended, I promptly contacted your offices in both the Pietermaritzburg and Westville branches to verify whether Sue was authorized to contact me on your behalf. Surprisingly, neither office had any knowledge of Sue's association with Venn Attorneys. In an attempt to resolve this matter, I provided Venn Attorneys with a copy of the recorded conversation. In response, I received an email from Ms. Kishalia Govender, confirming that she had reviewed the recording. In her email, she stated that Ms. Marsten, the caller, was acting on behalf of Venn Attorneys and was instructed to verify insurance information. However, I must emphasize that I did not grant anyone permission to engage in telephonic harassment, as protected by the POPI Act. Upon realizing the lack of communication from your client, who claims damages to his property, I contacted Venn Attorneys once again to seek clarification from Miss Govender. It was during this engagement that I found her conduct to be both unprofessional and distasteful. As a candidate attorney, Miss Govender appears to be unfamiliar with the values upheld by the Venn Company. Considering that Venn Attorneys was founded in 1952 with a strong commitment to these values, I am confident that the founder would agree. I brought to Miss Govender's attention that attorneys in South Africa are expected to adhere to principles of professionalism, respect, and courtesy in their communication with clients and the public. The Legal Practice Council places great importance on maintaining the dignity of the legal profession and fostering trust in the attorney-client relationship. Any attorney who demonstrates rudeness, disrespect, or blatant unprofessionalism in their communication is likely in violation of these ethical standards. To my surprise, I received an email this morning from Mr. Hiresen Govender, Director at Venn, which read, "Dear Pravesh, I have listened to the recordings of the 6 calls you made to our firm. It is obvious that there is little point debating this issue with you. You will receive our client's demand once we have received final costings and instructions." Furthermore, Mr. Govender commended Miss Kishalia Govender for her unprofessional behavior, stating, "Kishalia, your restraint was admirable. If this is the attitude demonstrated by a Director of your firm, I can only commend you for protecting your own. However, it raises concerns about the overall ethos and values embraced by Venn Attorneys. It is important to note that one of Venn's significant objectives is to mentor and nurture the many candidate attorneys within your organization. By doing so, Venn Attorneys continues the legacy left by its predecessors, solidifying its position as an innovative leader in the legal profession in KwaZulu-Natal. I find it crucial to emphasize that one of Venn's primary objectives is to mentor and nurture the many candidate attorneys within your organization.
