I was referred to Dr. Tar by my former rheumatologist that retired and a primary care physician that I was seeing. I figured two doctors could not be wrong. I had been seeing another rheumatologist after my doctor retired and no progress was being made. So, I thought I would stop being stubborn and take the suggestions that were offered to me. I wasted an entire year of my life, money, time, and health being stubborn. I think if I would have gone to see Dr. Tar when I was originally told, I would be further ahead in health journey and avoided a lot of un-needed pain and struggle. My health issues have caused me so much pain and discomfort. But, Dr. Tar listened to me! His staff listened to me! They heard my issues and piece by piece we have been working on me. I feel like I have some of my life back. Dr Tar and his staff looks for what works and works to solve the issue, not prolong it. I also like that they give you your lab orders at your last visit so you can get lab work done before your next visit. Saves money and time for the patient. I get to my appointment and there my results are on the screen. I am very grateful to have Dr. Tar as my rheumatologist and I think he has a pretty awesome staff as well. His office is an experience of being heard, understood, and helped. Plus, they have amazing soft music to calm you while you wait.

Best Allergy/Rheumatologist in town or maybe the whole world. If not for Dr Tarr and his nurse practitioner, Karen, I don't think I would be walking today. Karen has worked with me and what medications worked best for my rheumatoid arthritis. I'm a retired RN so I know a good doctor when I see one. This includes every single member of their staff. I truly love them all!! I almost didn't write this review because I wanted to keep them all to myself! LOL!!!

If your insurance takes longer than 30 days to pay, this isn’t the place for you. My first 2 visits with doctor Tar were paid right away from my insurance. I started weekly allergy shots and when i went for my 4th round of shots today, I was told my insurance had not paid yet for the first 3 rounds. They wanted me to call and argue with insurance for payment, which I agreed to do, and when I asked to get my shots that day, they refused and said I had to pay over $2,000 (cash or check, they will not take credit or debit cards). They acknowledged that they know my insurance will pay but was willing to lose a patient instead of waiting a little longer for payment. I walked out and when I got home and called my insurance, the rep said the negotiated contract price is $740 not $2,000 - she also said, legally they cannot ask a patient to pay more than the negotiated contract price. Being how they are a law office as well, you would think they would know better than to be dishonest. I am so disappointed in Dr Tar’s office, I may end up filing a claim against him.

Horrible experience. The Doctor only takes cash, no credit cards or debit cards. the office was small and crowded, and they did not let any family members go in with me to translate. Also they did not have a Spanish speaking nurse. One of the Patients in the waiting room felt bad and offered us $25 cash we told her thanks for seeing our dilemma, but that we were leaving any way.

Very unprofessional Physician goes beyond being unethical pawed my wife over to his wife after she questioned her treatment. I work in the field and have never seen a practice that operates like this place ! I am in the process of talking with an attorney about legal proceedings against them for there treatment of my wife !
