I hired Brian O’Keefe to assist me in securing a two commercial loans from two private lenders. Brian identified a private party on the first loan, and I located a hedge fund as the lender on the second loan. Both transactions were heavily lawyered with voluminous amounts of paper and took several months to complete. Brian and his team completed many of the requested due diligence items before the lender asked. When your counsel is ahead of the curve it certainly adds to your creditability with the lender.
