Recently, I attended the M. Robinson & Company seminar on "Guide to the New Tax Law" at Rich May Law on January 26, 2018. Attorneys Morris Robinson, Patricia Weisgerber and Yale Robinson expertly analyzed the details, and presented concise power point slides. Since I deal daily in application of the Treasury Regs with regard to 1031 exchanges, I recognized the excellence of their legal research--and was very impressed at how accurately the attorneys were able to answer questions asked by the attendees at the seminar. This is not the first time I have been in attendance at a seminar where these Tax Law Specialists have been presenting; they are consistently knowledgeable, well-researched & experienced.
Retaining M Robinson Tax Law was the worst decision my husband and I have ever made. They absolutely do not care about helping you. All they care about is making money by over charging you! We spent thousands of dollars in retainer fees and have nothing to show for it. We cut ties and moved on to someone else who actually helped us. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!!!
I attended a networking breakfast and panel of speakers organized by M. Robinson & Company in May 2012. The event was "Marketing and Social Networking Tips for Tax Professionals". All the speakers were engaging and informative, and I also appreciated the opportunity to mingle with local professionals. The breakfast took place at 7:30 AM so that attendees had the opportunity to participate before going to work. I remember that one of the speakers did a physical demonstration of how to walk into a room of industry professionals so as to make the best impression (and how NOT to walk into a room-- e.g., hunched over holding a cell phone to your ear!) Thank you, M. Robinson & Company, for holding these helpful events!
Mr. Robinson gave me advice about my tax situation, and was extremely patient and friendly. Joseph was also very patient and courteous. Truly a great and comforting experience... Highly recommend!
Shortly after getting married, we were given the opportunity to purchase our Manhattan rental apartment. Morris Robinson explained to my husband and me, using charts and financial tools, how we could afford to buy. He demonstrated that if we could invest a down payment, our monthly out-of-pocket cost would be the same as our rent charge. Five years after we purchased, we sold our unit for substantially more than we paid. This gain was used to help us purchase our new suburban home.
