Really want to take the time to shed light on what to do with working with lawyers. Mr Mcclusky guided us beautifully through the process when we were buying our home. Make sure you understand terminology and fully read your contracts before signing. Everyone has a learning curve. For us at the time the secretary was friendly and polite over the phone. There are some customers who have dominate personalities and customer service is difficult for everyone. The lessons that come from it help build stronger relationships. He is the epitome of a person who acts with integrity. I will gladly work with him again. Know how to be respectful and polite. Document what you need too to make for an easy close. Know the questions to ask. We all get busy as people and some days get very hectic. We as human beings need to learn to shed grace. Mr. McClusky, thank you for everything you helped us with while we were learning the process for buying a home in New York.
Did not want to even give one star but couldn't give zero....starting with his rude secretary...she must hate her job because it shows. He is the most unprofessional professional I've ever dealt with. Very arrogant and rude....like a Dr. with terrible bedside manner. Just handled the closing of my house that I sold. He was supposed to take BOTH realators proceeds out of the check and he ONLY took out the BUYERS realtor fee for starters...then the balance of sale was supposed to be DIRECTLY WIRED to my account per my lawyer...which he failed to do. So..instead he told my lawyer DIRECTLY he mailed the check on the 29th HIMSELF. So..fast forward a week...my lawyer still hadn't received the check...so my lawyer once again called him inquiring about whereabouts of the check and his words were "I think my secretary sent it out the next day regular mail".. he had told my lawyer HE PERSONALLY mailed it out the day before...so which was it??? The following day (8 days since closing) the check arrives at my lawyers by REGULAR MAIL! NOT CERTIFIED! Was a check for $70,000!!!! Who puts a check that big in the regular mail much less a lawyer!! So...now I wait.. the realator fee has to be taken out of this check and paid to my agent as they have also been waiting and check has to sit in MY lawyers account for a 2 day hold THEN I get MY check which then has to clear for 5 days at MY bank. So 2 weeks after the closing the buyer is living in my house, their lawyer is PAID and so is THEIR realator while my realator, lawyer and myself are still waiting to get paid. He is definitely a small town "lawyer" that lies to other lawyers and doesn't practice common sense especially when anyone knows a check that big gets sent certified ????% of the time! Choose wisely...you get what you pay for!
Very friendly and made our paper work so easy to understand. So glad we went there because there was paper work that we wouldn't have known about. Would go to him again if we needed his services.
Timothy has assisted in helping my customers close on their homes. I have had excellent results with this office an would recommend them to anyone. My customers have been please with the results.
Doesn't return calls . Paid for an eviction , guess what , squatter is still there. Didn't live up to the reputation I heard so highly of . I wouldn't recommend or use his services again.
