SCAM! If you receive a letter in the mail from this place saying you owe money for something you know nothing about, DO NOT PAY! SCAM SCAM SCAM!
This is a scam! We have gotten multiple letters saying there are warrants out, which we verified was not true. I called and told them I would press charges if we got another letter in the mail. They quickly asked for the address to take it off the mailing list! How do these people get away with this??
My experince comes from a totally different place: I worked there as a temp a few summers ago and while the work was sort of tediuos, I met some great people. It was a good job. I did notice an entire room devoted to collections and wondered what that was all about. Why would a collectios agency have a bunch of attorneys? The 2 or 3 I worked with were great. But again, I'm coming from the opposite from many.
They Violate the Privacy Act!!! They put your private information on a post card, then mail it to you for anyone and everyone to see! These guys a joke and they are breaking the law. I had a speeding ticket 7 years ago. I paid the ticket 1 day late. Then they told me I owe a failer to appear and warrent fee. I don't even live in Texas, I talked withe the courts in the town I got the ticket. Since it was paid they dropped the other fees, but these guys think they are the law and still want ne to pay them....
This is a scam. Throw their papers away. They said that I had a fine out of Houston the first time I called. Second time I called, for the same thing but later in the day, they said it was a traffic ticket out of Dallas Texas. I called again so my wife could hear and the third time it was out of Georgetown Texas. I've never even been there nor in the area. When I told them so, and that I was calling the courts, they hung up on me.
