Lawyers are hard to get in touch with, supposed to get my check in the beginning of the month and I don't receive it until the end of the month. Answering service send you to their voicemail and they never call back. Things change when they get their money. I do not recommend this Law Firm at all
I was referred to this firm by my union in 2016 and retained their services form 5.26.16 until 8.15.16. During this time period this firm did nothing but file with the WCB to take over my cases, new and prior. I was injured on 5.24.16 and the firm did nothing to establish that case, I had to move all my cases to another firm to have the new case established. nnIn December of 2017 I was given a proposed reward for an injury from 2015, that the law firm did nothing on. When I was not being paid by my employer and called the firm I was told that their was nothing that they could do, which was untrue. Now, they have asked for an exit fee against my award for the 2015 injury. When I called to inquire as to why they were asking for a fee it took 5 calls, 4 of which ended with the receptionsist hanging up on me before I was able to speak to an attornery. My question was simple and his anwer was simple, it should not have taken 5 phone calls to get that answer. I made sure to record my interactions just in case.nnI would not recommend this firm, and I am highly upset the my union directed me to them.
First off, these people are extremely impersonal and everything catnap went through, I went through. We won my hearing, but I can't say if they won it for me, since the insurance company's representative flubbed his paperwork. They ignored the medical paperwork I gave them and it cost me 9 weeks of retro. When I did receive my retro check, the amount was totally incorrect. I called and told them and they said they'd get back to me, but that was nearly a month ago. nnSo long story short, this office cost me over $1500 in retro because they don't listen, don't communicate, make you do some of the legwork and then totally ignore that leg work.If I had to do it over again, I would pick a different law office.
Going through a case now. Everything, " cat nap" said is happening. Beware and be on top of it.
nIt took three weeks to schedule an initial consultation called several times with no call-back. I should have gotten the message then and there. Really bad parking. If you are injured and have no one to drop you off, be prepared to walk several blocks. nWhile I was in the waiting room, there was another client who looked like he had been waiting for a decent amount of time. He received a cell phone call from the very office he was waiting at questioning why he didn't show up to his appointment. n The whole office is extremely disorganized. Lose/"never receive" documents. The lawyer was completely unprepared and rude. At your initial consultation, it is implied that you will receive a substantial award. Don't count on it. You get a different lawyer than the one that you consulted with so he has no knowledge of your case at all. I noticed he was quickly reading case notes about me minutes before the hearing. When I questioned his curt and generally bad attitude, I was told that he had 60 cases that day as if I had been the one to over-schedule him. I would have gladly postponed had I known how unprepared they were. They told me after the hearing that they did not have adequate supporting documentation, mind you that they had more than a month to tell me this or obtain the documentation from my MD.n Please stay away from this firm unless you want to experience complete frustration with their incompetence.I will absolutely make sure to tell my MD not to recommended them to any more patients. I certainly would have valued that advice before I invested my time & energy with them.n
