If you have a complicated case do NOT retain Meredith. Not only is Meredith extremely condescending, she’ll keep your money out of spite when you make the very personal decision to select another attorney. It’s been over 4 weeks since a new attorney was retained and she still hasn’t returned the portion of her retainer that wasn’t used. Supposedly, a check was “mailed”, yet her office won’t provide the information of the “employee responsible for billing” or any sort of proof the check was sent. It must be nice billing hundreds of dollars hourly, living a posh life, while refusing to give people money back they actually need to live and support their children. Grotesque misuse of power by someone who needs to feel important for whatever reason.
