Attorney Metts is the Attorney you want fighting for you, she knows the law and well respected by the Judges. I made the mistake of listening to someone else and I picked an Attorney that did absolutely nothing and I really felt she was working against me , after 15 months and no results or progress I called Metts Law and told her what was going on she took my case and instantly she made things happen. Metts Law is the way to go because I know I would have been railroaded if Metts Law would not have stepped in and saved the day. Thank you so much Rita Metts for everything you are the truly the best.

The most incompetent legal team I’ve ever encountered. The “paralegal”/ receptionist knows nothing about family law, or anything else for that matter. I’m guessing she’s a family member of the attorney because there’s no way a self-respecting attorney would hire her to run their practice. She’s incompetent, unintelligent, and can barely articulate herself when speaking to clients. She’s always ”too busy”, and unavailable to respond to calls or emails in a timely fashion. Furthermore, any questions that may arise regarding your case; she’s never capable of answering. It’s just a mess. Attorney Metts barely knows what she’s doing, just call family court and they will agree. She’s overpriced and is not worth half of what she charges. Please save yourself the trouble and seek legal counsel elsewhere. This practice is NOT IT!!!! I would give 0 stars if possible.

I’ll start by saying this is the worst experience that I’ve ever had with any attorney. I had only spoken with attorney Metts four times and only because her assistant was extremely rude and incompetent. If I needed documents to be taken care of I literally had to do it all on my own, which made this experience a waste of time and money. Unfortunately, if you are thinking of hiring attorney Metts I strongly suggest that you reconsider. She may not contact you outside of the initial consultation and mediation. In between those times you will deal with her assistant who literally will not help you. On countless occasions I would have to change information on documents that she supposedly sent to the opposing counsel because the documents were never altered to fit my request. If I could give this review no stars I absolutely would.

I used ms metts many years ago she done a great job and I tell many people about her cause she was on my side and got the job done I would use her again if I had too..

One star is giving her too much credit! Absolute worst attorney I’ve ever encountered. Refuses to take phone calls , the legal aid and receptionist has continuously apologized and assured me that she is getting the messages and will not return phone calls after being paid in full for my divorce two years later I’m at the clerk of Court office getting a packet of paper to finish my divorce myself because she won’t even return a phone call.
