Reviews

I needed a highly effective and experienced real estate attorney for fraud, construction defects, and breach of contract disputes. The situation had become bitter, complex and heated. I very soon realized I made a great decision. After discussing the details of my case and going over my options, they executed on a winning strategy which got me an awesome settlement, saving me thousands of dollars. Kudos to the entire law firm!
I contacted this law firm, I have been given the run around since November of 2019. Its now jan 2022. They keep lying to me that they’ll have something by a certain date and keep pushing it back. My timeshare is out of state so they sent it off to another attorney who also does nothing. I contacted him directly and he just sits on the case until the timeshare company lets it go. Doesn't try to negotiate or contact them at all. Ive tried to refinance my home last year and my lender did way more than the attorneys did but its still not resolved. Thanks for taking money and not providing results, attorneys. If you are trying to get out of a timeshare, i suggest anywhere else.
I hired Mitchell Reed Sussman's office to help me get out of my two timeshares. I explained I have numerous medical conditions from 9/11 that have prevented me from using my timeshares, one timeshare of which I had for 15 years. I provided all the medical records confirming my conditions. I also explained I do not want to, nor should I have to, ruin my credit in order to get the timeshare company to allow me to exit, based on the medical documentation. They understood and agreed. I signed a retainer only to learn him and his colleagues wanted me to stop paying the timeshare and maintenance fees, which would have tarnished my credit. When I emailed them questions to make sure we were on the same page, no one wanted to answer them. I was basically put on a conveyer belt and simply just another number. He then said he would stop work on my timeshare and either refund me the $500 I paid up front or have me sign a new retainer, in which he raised the fee by about 2k, that I would have to pay him. After asking for clarification on the grounds he will be getting the exit of my timeshares completed, he once again responded rudely via email, attempted to berate me by lecturing me on how much experience he has and told me I was making libelous statements due to my being wary of those who say they can help get me out of my timeshares, who end up being a scam. Long story short; I got my refund, dealt with my timeshare myself, provided medical records and they allowed me to exit the two timeshares without ruining my credit, without paying any additional money and most importantly, without an attorney... especially one who is unprofessional. Mr. Sussman, you have some audacity to imply I made libelous claims against you. What I said was I am sure you understand my asking numerous questions due to all the scams out there regarding those who say they'll get you out of your timeshare, only to walk with your money. That is not a libelous statement towards you. I saved our email correspondence containing your unprofessionalism, rudeness and abruptness with me, a then, client of yours. Be careful who you threaten to sue, whether directly or indirectly. Folks, if you have illnesses that have prevented you from utilizing your timeshare/s, you can get out of it without paying an attorney. Knowledge and determination can help you achieve that. You don't always have to rely on an attorney to do things you can do yourself.
SHADY LAWFIRM! STAY AWAY! I was client of Mitchell Reed Sussman via Reedhein & Associates, who hired him to get me out of a timeshare contract. Not only did Mitch fail to get me out of my timeshare, but he then lied about it. He went so far as to type of up a fake "Timeshare Exit" document...when I was never exited! His company took my money and ran! Now I have to find another law firm to actually represent me and get me out of timeshare, after he wasted 4+ years of my time and money! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR...FIND ANYBODY ELSE TO REPRESENT YOU!
We certainly didn't make it easy for Mr. Sussman during the lawsuit we had filed against the timeshare company that sold to my Grandparents. We were limited on funds and couldn't have my Grandparents testify due to health issues. Even with these obstacles, Mitch was able to release my Grandparents (as well as the family listed to inherit the timeshares... and dues) of all liability from the timeshare company. We were even able to put some money in our pockets after everything was said and done. I recommend anyone who is struggling with yearly dues, or feel they've been scammed by a timeshare company to call Mr. Sussman! Thanks again Mitch for all your help! David Renner Grandson
