Please be very wary of the reviews here. The vast majority of reviews come from accounts with 1 and only review - no other reviews of restaurants, stores, or other services. Also, the wording of the reviews is almost identical from review to review. This is typical of review fraud. Simply creating Google accounts to boost ratings. Unfortunately, it's very easy to do, and as a business owner, is a way to artificially create a good reputation.nnI am a former client of Mr Morton's, and have a fairly extensive history of meetings with him. I've since worked with a few respectable attorneys and have coincidentally taken a job working day to day with people that have been injured in the workplace. Mr Morton does not have a good reputation in the Treasure Valley, and is considered to be arrogant, unorganized, and quick tempered. In my own personal experiences with him, I would say that puts it mildly.nnMost other injury and worker's comp lawyers in this town work in firms, or have several lawyers. Mr Morton is likely not compatible in a firm or multi-professional environment, as his ego and arrogance is just too much to be tolerated. nnFor the sake of readability and scope of relevance, I won't dredge up the details of my case. They are detailed and human sounding, unlike the review-farm reviews otherwise. nnIronically, Mr Morton suggests visiting his own website to read real testimonials. Well here's a dirty little secret: reviews on your own website are not to be taken seriously. I must also point out that I've left intelligent, factual reviews on the lawyer directory sites where Alan Morton's services are listed, and these less-than 5 star reviews have been removed. Apparently, it's commonplace for attorneys to control their reputation through censorship. Thank you Google for being different.nnThe other reason I won't dredge up the details of my case is because I'd prefer not to be insulted in a response from Mr Morton. You will notice that any not-positive review results in a barrage of insults from Mr Morton, and accusals of "libel". Please. These are reviews. If you don't want people leaving honest reviews, don't list your business on Google. And if you don't want your name dragged through the mud, don't put the damn business in your name.
