Mr. Pasulka comes to decisions & conclusions without investigating all the facts & evidence presented to him. He puts people in charge of supervised parenting time that have no morals, ethics, or family loyalties. If your attorney recommends him for your custody case, ask for someone else.

BEWARE!!! One star is too high for David Pasulka. I find is disturbing that someone so unethical is licensed to provide legal representation. My first red flag should have been in the consultation when his sales pitch was to insult another very reputable attorney that I had used in the past. I went to David Pasulka to try to save money because I have an ex husband who has taken me to court 4 times in 6 years trying to take my kids, as that is the only way he knows to hurt me. Burt Hochburg at Schiller Ducanto and Fleck represented me 3 of the 4 times, as well as in my divorce and won every single item presented in court! But after spending $320,000 with my divorce and previous three custody cases, I needed to try to keep costs down. David Pasulka was as big an enemy as the opposing attorney. The following are just a few of the issues: (FULL LIST/REVIEW IN ATTACHED SCREENSHOTS DUE TO CHARACTER LIMIT) 1. Dishonest at multiple times about fees to come, blatently lying to me and my father on conference calls about fees. 2. David did not appear one time in court on my behalf. He was supposed to question the key witness in my custody trial, and I went into a panic when he did not appear and had the associate attorney stumble through an embarrassing questioning of the key witness. 3. Did not even defend countless false and knowingly dishonest claims made against me in court despite having well organized documents provided by me to clearly show they were false. 4. David threatened to and/or filed to withdraw from my case multiple times when the enormous and inaccurate bills were not paid on time. One of such times, I was in his office to sign a paper after being out of town visiting my father who was hospitalized for heart problems (probably as a result of the stress and worry over the custody case) and David didn't know I was standing at his reception desk when I heard him talking about me and stated "Mom's dying, Dad's dying, everybody's dying... who cares.... just call and give me a credit card number and pay your bill" 5. At the end of the trial, I spent considerable amount of time reviewing the bills and was shocked at no less than $40,000 in inaccurate, duplicate, or otherwise over billed charges. I went to mediation to challenge the charges, and one of the other attorney's represented the firm and agreed to lower charges. Following that meeting, the attorney negotiated an even more reduced amount if I could pay the charges immediately rather than over time. I am now back in court as David Pasulka has filed claims the we did not pay the charges as negotiated even though I have a paid in full receipt. This case is still pending. 6. Hearing was set on the fees and on that day there was heavy rain causing major traffic delays during morning rush hour. A normal 1 hr 10 minute heavy rush hour drive took me almost 2.5 hours. I communicated with David Pasulka when I knew I would be late, ongoing up to the moment I was stepping in the elevator. When David knew I was getting in the elevator on my way up to the courtroom, he asked the judge to enter a default judgement for me not showing for the hearing. ** See attached photos of the communication. I am now in the process of asking the judge to vacate the default judgement that he entered and give me a fair hearing on the attorney fee issue** I highly recommend against retaining David Pasulka or his firm. Burt Hochberg and his team were not inexpensive, but they are worth every penny they charge in the end. I attempted to go back to Burt during this case, but it was too close to trial for him to be able to come into the case. If I end up in court again, I will absolutely use Burt Hochberg and Schiller Ducanto and Fleck

Worse custody appointed lawyer ever!!! The court system in cook county Chicago is corrupted as a rotten apple !!! Mr Pasulka was appointed to represent my son in 2006 and was always looking after the mother and having private meetingswith her more than me and my family supporting her not even came to check my house or establishment for my son but gave all the support to the mother even after a child social worker recommended for the child to come live with me and my parents ,he only cared for when his going to get paid and was coming to court with alcohol in his breath and also pulled a fast one on my lawyer by taking my case to his own Judge Jhon Carr ,which later i found on were close friends and went ton the same law school . Thanks a lot for destroying ,my sons life and my family giving my son to a drug mother and her cocaine dealer husband. My son has cholesterol now and is on depression pills and his only ten years old and lives under threats and punishment every day and drug filled environment.
