This building is amazing and a great reflection of the USPTO generally. It is always clean and seasonally decorated. (for example, a LARGE and beautiful Christmas tree was on display during the holidays. I miss it.). Security is always present. The prominent United States of America flag inside and colorful lighting effects outside give it a nice extra touch, too.
Wonderful place to explore and look for historical inventions filed in the USPTO. This is a huge facility with various departments place in different areas. They also have In-house patent search facility on EAST database (Used by the patent examiners) which can be accessed once getting the required approvals.
Nice museum on the first floor that is open to the public as well as a Lego™ model of the original Patent and Trademark Office Building in DC.
Still doing everything with paper and pencil. Absolutely horrid place to work IT
It was a nice experience seeing the building and exploring but trying to get stuff done was a pain. No one knows where things are located. Security is SLOW. And the receptionists answer you with one word....
