Having spoken with John Quinn himself. I have to say, this is a very welcoming firm. I refuse to work there, as the pay is too low to salvage my career as a great AMERican lawyer. At best they can fly me there for 2 weeks to interview lawyers and write a short story. They want artists in residence?
I am not a client nor have I been. I just saw a full page ad in the WSJ for QE that celebrates its alleged status as the most feared firm. This form of marketing and it’s message is demeaning to the profession and panders towards stereotypes, ignorance and is an embarrassment.
I was called in as an expert witness. The lawyers talked to me for 2 hours and sent me on my merry way. They didn't pay for my time or written work post meeting. Clueless lawyers; QE is just a band of sharpies, looking to collect fees from naive clients, and without any consideration for the work of expert witnesses (i.e. people who know). Avoid them.
