If you get a letter from this company, you better get a good attorney. They do not tell the truth. They do not communicate with you the way they say they do and they take your money. Beware.

I am not sure how to rate this company since most of the reviews are low. They called me out of blue asking me to verify information for my dependent my son he's seven. she was asking me questions like "have you been legally married to his dad", and does my son have "additional insurance coverage" when i explained that he did. She said ok that explains it. I went home thought about it called my insurance company and i told them about the phone call she said "oh yea we contract them to make sure coverage is the way you that you say and its not a SCAM" So i was okay with that. What i do not understand is why do insurances do that maybe to protect themselves i don't know. (i.e fraud and such) I did feel it was a little intrusive to ask some real personal questions about my life, and about my insurance

If I could give them "0" stars it would be a ZERO!! This company apparently contracts to investigate insurance coverage and alerts them when clients may have duplicate coverage. Some sort of 3rd party investigation. Well let me tell you they do not investigate. Kept insisting I had active coverage with BCBS and notified Aetna of this finding. My BCBS was termed on 2.29.24 and Aetna started on 3.1.24. After emailing them this information they continued to insist I had coverage with BCBS and Aetna sent us a letter they were going to deny payment unless "Rawlings" cleared it up. Well it takes one phone call by me to BCBS to clarify my benefits were actually termed 2.29.24. When I asked what kind of investigating they did to come to the finding the policy was still active "Kim" did not really have any answer and deferred that it was not her job to investigate. What ended up happening is I did the work for them and they get paid by Aetna. Corporate America at its finest. I have filed a complaint with them and notified Aetna. I deserve the fee for clarifying this not Rawlings. Stay clear from this company.

If you receive a letter from The Rawlings Group, may God have mercy on your soul. They are essentially bottom feeders for the health insurance industry. They are hired by health insurance companies to find loopholes which will allow your health insurance provider to rescind and take back payments already made to your doctor/hospital, thus making you now responsible for the bill. Even their web site boasts, “legal and industry expertise to deliver outstanding financial results to our clients” – in other words, they are good at taking money out of your pocket and giving it back to your health insurance provider when you’ve already paid premiums and deductibles. In our case, they claimed that my daughter was covered under two health plans at her birth – which she never was, she had one coverage. They took back all payments made to the hospital and made us responsible for 100% of the bill. It took us over a year, with threats of collections from the hospital, and us getting our state department of insurance involved, before they suddenly realized that yes, our daughter was only covered by one insurance. Never issued us an apology for all the stress they put us under. Now another year later, they are back again, trying to claim that yet another doctor bill is not covered because of dual coverage. When I reach out to them, they don’t provide documentation and talk legal/double talk to confuse you. The Rawlings Group does nothing to help consumers, be prepared for a long fight ahead, document everything with them, and call your state department of insurance to file a complaint against them. (Be wary of some of the positive reviews on here, especially Jenni, Leigh, and Susan. Based on the location of other reviews they posted, they are local to this company in Kentucky. They may be employees or know employees and are posting positive reviews to boost the company's ratings.)

Please do not send any information to those people if they claim to be affiliated with your insurance company. They will screw you out of any money they possibly can. One of the shadiest and dirtiest companies in America.
