The letter I've received from them is worded in an incredibly deceptive and predatory way. It's is clear on first sight that they are just out to find a way to recover insurance payments, regardless of their legitimacy. Based on the letter I'm willing to bet that they are paid commission on their recovery.

If you receive a letter from The Rawlings Group, may God have mercy on your soul. They are essentially bottom feeders for the health insurance industry. They are hired by health insurance companies to find loopholes which will allow your health insurance provider to rescind and take back payments already made to your doctor/hospital, thus making you now responsible for the bill. Even their web site boasts, “legal and industry expertise to deliver outstanding financial results to our clients” – in other words, they are good at taking money out of your pocket and giving it back to your health insurance provider when you’ve already paid premiums and deductibles. In our case, they claimed that my daughter was covered under two health plans at her birth – which she never was, she had one coverage. They took back all payments made to the hospital and made us responsible for 100% of the bill. It took us over a year, with threats of collections from the hospital, and us getting our state department of insurance involved, before they suddenly realized that yes, our daughter was only covered by one insurance. Never issued us an apology for all the stress they put us under. Now another year later, they are back again, trying to claim that yet another doctor bill is not covered because of dual coverage. When I reach out to them, they don’t provide documentation and talk legal/double talk to confuse you. The Rawlings Group does nothing to help consumers, be prepared for a long fight ahead, document everything with them, and call your state department of insurance to file a complaint against them. (Be wary of some of the positive reviews on here, especially Jenni, Leigh, and Susan. Based on the location of other reviews they posted, they are local to this company in Kentucky. They may be employees or know employees and are posting positive reviews to boost the company's ratings.)

Angela Norris called me from Rawlings group stating that I had two insurance companies at the time my son was born. She said he would help me to save money by getting the other company to pay the bills. Long story short, she had Aetna pull the payments and now Blue Cross Blue Shield won’t pay for the bills because the claim was filed too late. Now I have to pay out of pocket. Now Angela will not return my calls. So messed up. DO NOT TAKE LET THESE PEOPLE HANDLE ANYTHING FOR YOU.

Terrible company that's sole purpose is try every loophole in the book to save insurance companies money. If they call you trying to say they want to help you coordinate benefits just hang up. All they will do is absolutely screw up your claims to the point it takes months of calling to fix.

This Satan based corrupt and scandalous company preys off innocent people who are already going through some forms of financial conflict. They are truly scandalous bottom feeders and I would absolutely love to be a part of any law suit just to witness some sort of vindication of their "normal practices ". They are also in bed with the bottom feeders Shlesinger & DeVillenuve law firm that took scandalous advantage of my wife. Law firm that drug out her lawsuit for 5 gruling years knowing Damn well she would just settle for pennies. Ya'll should be ashamed!!
