Atty Reisig as my criminal defense was very competent, diligent, and trustworthy. He defended me vigorously in court and challenged the prosecution’s evidence and witnesses. I was scared out of my mind before hiring Matthew Reisig. His office staff is phenomenal..I could call to ask questions when I wasn't sure about anything, and they kept me abreast of every step we took. Although we had to show up to court a couple of times; the very last time Mr. Reisig was able to get my case DISMISSED(with prejudice)! Mr Reisig is absolutely the best counsel that I have come across. He has a presence, in the courtroom, that commands the attention of all parties in attendance. He is a no nonsense guy who knows exactly what he's talking about, and does not back down. In regard to my situation, I was pulled over in December 2016 and charged with driving while suspended on a 2nd DUI. I was extremely nervous, as this carried a mandatory 6 month prison sentence. Long story less long, Mr. Reisig was able to overturn one of my previous DUI's , with that court actually issuing me back some of the court fees I dished out years prior. The fact that he was able to do that, made any possibility of jail time nonexistent. Reisig and his team (Jessica, Mr. Ross, and Mr. Kurzawa) were God sent! I made the mistake of hiring this attorney. He did nothing for my case. In fact i feel he hurt my case. He also was extremely rude. I felt like he was bullying me through the process but at the time i was more concerned with the case and wanted the best help i could get so i remained subordinate. He was very obnoxious, arrogant, and didn't seem interested in anything except getting paid. During the court process there was an error made that i feel violated my rights. This man did nothing to capitalize on the mistake. I lost my case very badly. I wouldn't even mind if i jtust lost but i also had to take verbal abuse from him along the way. Sometimes i think about it and i get sick thinking about how this attorney flushed 2k of my money down the toilet. Keep looking This man will take advantage of a desperate client.
